The little ring boy wore a white cotton shirt and khaki shorts, and our flower girl was so cute in a light fabric sundress. All of the wedding party looked great in their wedding attire and the flower arrangements for our bouquets were the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen.

With all the pictures I wanted taken of our wedding ceremony and reception, maybe I should have bought two albums for wedding. I planned to have pictures of all the fantastic decorations at our wedding and reception and photos of every guest that attended. I especially wanted photos of us taking our vows under the beautiful flowered arch and satin canopy we had put up. After we were pronounced husband and wife, we left for the hotel to change from our wedding attire to our beach attire. The little ring boy was adorable in his little tux, and the groomsmen were very handsome in theirs, with the white boutonnieres in the lapels. But nothing could compare to the elegance of the bride and groom. They were such a lovely couple. When the ceremony ended the happy couple left for the reception in a horse drawn buggy.
Since they chose a ranch to buy as their first home, they thought that would be the perfect place to hold the reception. What a gorgeous place they had with a beautiful house and horse barn on two acres. I would have loved to have started my married life out in a place like this.
She did a fantastic job arranging her reception. It was absolutely perfect. Wild flowers centered on each table really gave it that down home look. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the themed wedding favors. Around the reception tables it was lit up with lanterns and white christmas lights everywhere. With the décor consisting of hay bales and corn stalks on the barn doors, this really gave the perfect appearance of a country reception. They made sure there were plenty of things the kids would enjoy as well as the adults. Some of the kids were bobbing for apples while others were into a wild game of horse shoes, and still others were trying their hand at line dancing. We were all having a fantastic time.
The wedding cake was spectacular and the wedding topper had us all in stitches. The cutest cake topper I’ve ever seen. They even had country themed champagne flutes for the bridal toast. And she made place card holders out of these little cowboy hats. That was such a unique idea.
The food they chose for the reception was unbelievable. Since they did a lot of grilling, we had our choice of steaks, ribs, and chicken, plus all kinds of salads and vegetables. There was plenty of great food to choose from. Lots of music, dancing, games and food to last all evening. We all had a wonderful time at the country western themed party.
There was another themed reception I went to that was also a lot of fun, it was a beach themed reception. A beach wedding ceremony is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. It’s so romantic with the sunset above the ocean. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. I plan on having a beach wedding and reception too, one day.
The bridesmaids looke so nice in their linen summer dresses and the groomsmen were quite handsome in their drawstring pants and linen shirts. The bride wore a beautiful crepe dress that seemed to match the blue of the ocean, and the groom looked so handsome in his white linen beach attire. The whole ceremony was absolute perfection, just like dream.
Their reception was more than elegant too. The reception tables were decorated with gorgeous beach themed accessories. Seashells, orchids and little starfish placed in a sand filled tray, with a gorgeous white candle on each side, was her centerpieces. Her crystal champagne glasses had beach themed stems and her place card holders were little seashells.
She had everything in a beautiful beach décor, from her wedding cake topper to the wonderful theme wedding cakes she had put together. This was a ceremony and reception I will never forget.

The only real decorations I needed were those for my wedding table and the guests reception tables. With the park as our main theme, I basically had to make sure I had our table settings and maybe throw in a few extra bouquets of flowers. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. You couldn’t tell they were artificial they were so beautiful,they looked like the real deal. The wedding was easier than I originally thought it would be, but there were a lot of things to consider. If we should decide somewhere down the line to have a renewal wedding ceremony, I think I’d like to have it in the park again.

I really liked the novelty favors they have for a Las Vegas themed party, like the little photo albums and keychains.

As wedding favors I chose crystal paperweights for all of our guests. They were really lovely, so lovely I hated to package them, but the favor boxes were very decorative and added that extra special something to our tables. I found the perfect cake topper. The cake topper was the most exquisite part of our wedding cake. The beautiful satin bow and butterfly just made our cake even more beautiful.

Everyone seemed impressed with the décor and their wedding favors. Some of the guests came up and thanked me for their gifts and told me how beautiful they were. I should listen to my mom more often and maybe she has other ways to find bargains like these in a lot less time than I normally take. My mom also helped me so much with arranging my reception and helping me get the thank you cards all done. I couldn’t have done it without you, mom. Maybe I can use this online shopping thing for our future anniversary parties. They had some very nice ideas for anniversaries, like decorations, cake toppers and even favor gifts for guests. I saw a lot of lovely ideas for my mom and dad’s 30th wedding anniversary. Me and my sister should look at the possibilities together. Their 30th isn’t that far away, no use waiting until the last minute.

What I really liked about this place I shopped was the fact they have more than just cake toppers and a ring pillow. There are ideas and selections for all parties, including showers, birthday and girls night out parties. My sister just told me the other day that she got all the favors and supplies she needed for my bridal shower at the same place I bought my wedding supplies. Our mom gave her the idea of going online to find everything she needed for my bridal shower she was throwing for me, just like she did for me with my wedding supplies.

My sister is going to have a baby in a few months and I’m throwing her a baby shower, guess where I’m getting all of my shower supplies? I’m pretty sure on the items I’ve checked out so far, and plan to order them some time next week. That’s when she finds out if she is having a girl or boy. Even though there are a lot of neutral colors I could use, I’d rather try to have the décor and supplies in a boy or girl theme.
